India has one of the sophisticated medical ethno veterinary systems are ecosystem and ethnic- cultures with a tradition of over 5000 years. Many traditional medicines have been abandoned following the discovery of the modern chemotherapy. Population rise, inadequate supply of drugs, high cost of treatments. Due to the rapid changes in the form of transport, communication and education causes rapid socioeconomic and culture changing. Ethno veterinary medicine often provides cheaper options than comparable western drugs, and the products are locally available and more easily accessible there is a need of conservation of ethno veterinary plants
